Hear from Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Mandi Azoulay, Naturopath, Georgia Borowski, Dietitian, Wendy Fedele, CREI Specialist and Gynaecologist, Dr Raelia Lew and Dietitian, Leah Stjernqvist, as they discuss fertility for both partners, optimising your chances of conceiving and taking on a holistic approach to your fertility.

Mandi Azoulay, Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Mandi is an empathic and compassionate Doctor of Chinese Medicine. Mandi’s approach to diagnosis and treatment is integrative. She integrates and blends the philosophies and empirical knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the research and modern advancements of Western Medicine. Mandi has extensive training and experience in supporting couples or individuals embarking upon assisted reproductive technology including IVF, ICSI, PGD, egg freezing and surrogacy. Mandi has a particular interest in improving and optimising sperm health in male patients which ultimately increases the chances of healthier pregnancies.

Georgia Borowski, Naturopath

Georgia is a passionate and empathetic Naturopath. Naturally curious and passionate she endeavours to achieve optimal health and wellbeing for herself and her patients. She cherishes being able to help patients through preconception care, pregnancy and post natal care. As a mother of 3 she understands just how important support is through this time. Georgia also loves seeing young people going through new changes, encouraging healthy natural cycles, clean eating, skin health, PCOS, irregular and painful cycles and stress throughout this time. Georgia has an integrative approach to treatment, taking traditional knowledge of herbs and foods and combining this with a more evidence based approach to achieve a great outcome.

Wendy Fedele, Dietitian

As an accredited Practicing Dietitian, and a mum herself, Wendy loves working with mum's during the perinatal period to optimise their diet and provide their babies with the best possible start to life. With a Master’s degree in Dietetics and clinical hospital experience, she has the skills and expertise to translate the evidence into individualised nutrition advice to help people, and their babies thrive. When she’s not helping those on their fertility and pregnancy journey, she also works at St Vincent’s Hospital, providing medical nutrition therapy across a range of subspecialty units to help people improve their health through nutrition.

Dr Raelia Lew, CREI Specialist and Gynaecologist

Dr Raelia leads Women's Health Melbourne. She has specialised expertise in IVF and egg freezing, as well as interests in reproductive surgery, polycystic ovarian syndrome, pre-implantation genetic screening pre-implantation genetic diagnosis. Surgical skill, compassion and her commitment to clinical and academic excellence help Raelia to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes. Her gentle and caring manner coupled with her innovative and modern approach makes her popular with patients.

Leah Stjernqvist, Dietitian

Leah is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over five years of private practice experience. She obtained her Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition & Dietetics) from the Queensland University of Technology in 2014. Leah’s passion for food and cooking has shown her how much of a positive impact it can have on everyday life. This is reflected in advice that is practical and effective. Leah is interested in all things female health, but maintains a strong focus on hormone disturbances, such as PCOS, endometriosis and thyroid disease, as well as pregnancy and fertility nutrition.
