Connected Communities in St Kilda

Welcome to the St Kilda QENDO Community!

  • Meet your local coordinator - Andreea

Hi there I am Andreea! I am based in Melbourne and love all things Melbourne, especially the coffee. I am a chemist by training and I work full time in an Australian Biotech Company. I was first diagnosed at the age of 24 in 2009 during the first year of my PhD. I had been searching for answers since my early teens and struggled to get doctors to take me seriously. Since my diagnosis I have had 4 laparoscopies with little long term relief. After many years of trying to find what works for me I have now found means of managing my pain with the help of a pain specialist and I am back to living my life to the fullest and training for my first ultramarathon. Through Qendo I hope to help other women overcome the burden of their diagnosis and realise they too can achieve their potential in their careers and personal lives.
