Connected Communities in Sydney

Welcome to the Sydney QENDO Community!

  • Meet your local coordinator - Katrina

HEY, I’m Katrina! I’m a Sydney girl and recently returned home after living in London for 5 years. I’m energetic, loud, and love to chat all things Endo!

I have worked in the FIlm and Television industry since I was a teenager and I’m just obsessed!  I also love playing sports, writing, and spending as much time as possible with my family.

In 2018, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometriosis after a decade of hearing, “periods hurt, you’ll be fine love!” A laparoscopy revealed my uterus was fused to my bowels, and a significant amount of Endometrial tissue was removed.

I am SO excited to be a part of the QENDO team. I want to work as hard as possible to ensure that Endometriosis becomes as well known as other chronic illnesses. I am currently working on a very exciting project on Endometriosis. I'm determined to create fun and engaging content for our screens, with a focus on spreading awareness of women's health.

  • Join our Online Community

Online communities provide a valuable space for support and information sharing for individuals dealing with endometriosis and pelvic pain. Our Group on Facebook offers a place for members to connect, share personal experiences, and access resources.

They can be particularly helpful for those seeking understanding and advice from others who are navigating similar health challenges.

Our Community emphasises privacy, respect, and mutual support, ensuring a safe environment for all participants.

  • Our Events

We bring the community together throughout the year to increase education, support, awareness, understanding and learning how to manage our symptoms locally.
