Connected Communities in Melbourne

Welcome to the Melbourne QENDO Community!

  • Meet your local coordinator - Isabella

    Isa (she/her)

I am studying a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of Melbourne with a background in Nutrition Science (BNutSc). I have also worked extensively in childcare and disability support roles.

With an endometriosis diagnosis in 2024 and being the oldest of three girls all with menstrual health problems, I am naturally passionate about women’s health. I am committed to utilising the health literacy I have gained throughout my studies to help those who are looking for support. I thoroughly believe in balance and moderation, with the aim to empower those with menstrual health problems with the knowledge and ability to live a life which is fulfilling for them. I am deeply passionate about filling gaps in the healthcare system, which led to my interest and support for QENDO as an organisation. I believe that lived experience is a powerful tool for community support and am eager to participate.

Throughout my work at QENDO and in my lifetime, I will always advocate for LGBTQI+ and CALD communities. I hope to help anyone who has felt underrepresented, misdiagnosed, or dismissed to find their voice as I found mine.

  • Join our Online Community

Online communities provide a valuable space for support and information sharing for individuals dealing with endometriosis and pelvic pain. Our Group on Facebook offers a place for members to connect, share personal experiences, and access resources.

They can be particularly helpful for those seeking understanding and advice from others who are navigating similar health challenges.

Our Community emphasises privacy, respect, and mutual support, ensuring a safe environment for all participants.

  • Our Events

We bring the community together throughout the year to increase education, support, awareness, understanding and learning how to manage our symptoms locally.
