Chronically comical endo cabaret to visit Brisbane for one day only

Presented by Libby Trainor Parker in collaboration with Queensland’s peak body for endometriosis QENDO, Endo Days will play two shows at Brisbane Powerhouse on 13 August.

The award-winning comedy cabaret that aims to educate, empower and ‘endo-tain’ patients, supporters, health practitioners, and community surrounding the one in nine people with the incurable pain condition.

Having enjoyed four sold-out seasons at Adelaide Fringe with five-star reviews, Endo Days is hitting the road as part of a book tour promoting Libby’s memoir of the same name.

“Endo Days is such a fun show, which resonates with endo patients, as well as their partners, doctors, and supporters,” Libby Trainor Parker says. “And the book tells the stories of patients, parents, partners and medical professionals from all over the country with my story as the central narrative. We can’t wait to bring both book and show to Brisbane in partnership with QENDO, an organisation that has been instrumental in changing so many lives through education, care, awareness and community.”

Endo Days is a moving, hilarious, educational and empowering show with original songs, with comedian and author Libby Trainor Parker telling jokes and stories backed by a four-piece band led by her husband Matthew Trainor.

Libby was diagnosed with endometriosis at the age of 36, which was 22 years after presenting with symptoms, and she has since dedicated her life to endo awareness through entertainment and education, having been a director on the board of Pelvic Pain Foundation Australia, worked with Australian Coalition for Endometriosis, administrator of Endo Support SA, and was co-creator and writer of PPEP Talk (Periods, Pain and Endometriosis Program), a state and federal funded education initiative developed in response to the National Action Plan for Endometriosis.
