Join us for At Home with QENDO: Move your Body with Elisha Silcox from BodyTrack! Elisha is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, who has a special interest in women’s health. She will take you through a session, tailored for those with endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS or chronic pelvic pain.
Elisha’s interest in the physiological processes of the human body began with her experiences as an athlete and coach in her chosen sport of rowing. Her involvement in this sport allowed her to gain an interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation which, in-turn, led her to complete a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science majoring in Clinical Exercise Physiology, class of 2014.
Since joining the Bodytrack team, Elisha has found a passion and talent in Women's Health, using exercise as medicine for a range of conditions including PCOS, Endometriosis, Breast Cancer, Osteoporosis and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Elisha enjoys guiding and prescribing exercise for women throughout all stages of life, in particular, adolescence, pre and postnatal, and menopause.
She strongly believes that by furthering her education and keeping up to date with the current scientific evidence she will be equipped to provide a high level of quality care and exercise prescription for women in her community.
You will need a towel, yoga mat, rug or carpeted area to complete these movements on, and clothes you feel comfortable in.
This is a FREE event, however, registration is required. You can register for At home with QENDO: Move your Body, here.
