What is your role within QENDO, and why do you love doing what you do?

I'm the wellness coordinator at QENDO, which means I organise wellness events such as yoga, I also organise educational events with researchers and natural health practitioners so they can provide up to date information about their modality and how it can help women with endometriosis, adenomyosis and PCOS.

Why did you want to create this retreat experience?

I feel strongly that connection with others and taking time out for self-care is crucial for the management of a chronic illness such as endometriosis. I want women and girls to feel educated and empowered about their health and to develop a strong support network so they can thrive not just survive.

What makes this experience so special? Why should people come along and take part in the retreat?

This is the first ever retreat tailored for women with endometriosis and run by women who have endometriosis and adenomyosis. Every single aspect of the retreat has been thoughtfully curated from the menu to the activities which include gentle yoga, walks in nature, sound baths and a nutrition talk. The location is in magical Byron Bay at the beautiful Wybalena Organic Farm which features rolling green hills, a pool, a sauna and organic vegetable gardens.

What are you most looking forward to about the retreat?

Spending time in nature, connecting with other endosisters and the blissful sound baths created by my co-host Katie.
