🌟 Announcing QENDO’s Statewide Connected Communities Support Program

We are proud to launch our Statewide Connected Communities Support Program, bringing virtual and community-based support to people across Queensland. This program will work closely with local communities to connect, build capacity, and upskill local health professionals and support networks, ensuring people can access resources and support.

We’re partnering with communities to ensure people, especially those in rural and remote areas, feel supported and heard.

Through the Peer Support Program, we aim to:

🤝 Connect local with peer support networks

💡 Build capacity within local health services

🎓 Upskill local health professionals and support workers on endometriosis and pelvic pain

🌱 Foster stronger community support systems, ensuring that no one has to walk this journey alone

QENDO is also proud to have advocated for a range of initiatives this year including:

✅ “Reproductive” leave

✅ The first specialised Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Interdisciplinary Clinic

✅ The PEPP Talk Program in Queensland high schools

✅ Scholarships for health professionals to gain pelvic pain qualifications

✅ Medicare items numbers

By working hand-in-hand with local communities and healthcare providers, we’re ensuring that people not only have access to the support they need but that we are building a stronger, more knowledgeable network of care.
